Training

Training is an important part of SWALIM's work and feeds directly into its ultimate objective of handing over its information assets to a willing and able national authority when the time is right. Our training targets Somali ministries, local NGOs and Somalis working for international development organizations.

The training courses are intensive and aim at developing a pool of Somali trainers while at the same time building the capacity of SWALIM's liaison offices. A total of 11 courses have been slated for this year and these will be carried out in Somaliland, Puntland and central/south Somalia.
